| ARPA Theory | This CBT module will provide the students with an understanding of the basic theory of ARPA. It also includes a review of manual plotting principles and a list of the new navigational symbols that are to be used on all navigational displays installed on or after 1 July 2008 |
| Introduction to Navigation | This module provides a general introduction to maritime navigation, its history, chart work, navigation instruments, coastal as well as deep sea navigation principals |
| Doppler Log | The purpose of this training program is to teach the principals of the Doppler Log as well as the safe and efficient operation of the log during various operational conditions. |
| Satellite Navigation GPS | The purpose of this training course is to provide ship personnel with an understanding of how to use GPS satellite navigation system in a safe and efficient way |
| Navigation in Ice | The purpose of this training program is to provide a general and useful information about safe operation of ships in ice conditions |
| Mooring | The objective of this training program is to acquaint and familiarise crew members with mooring arrangement, their purpose and their location onboard. Planning and organising mooring and anchoring operations are discussed and focused on. |
| ECDIS – Electronic Chart Display | The primary function of ECDIS is to contribute to safe navigation. Electronic Chart Display Information Systems (ECDIS) and Electronic Chart Systems (ENC) are now being installed in ever increasing numbers of ships. |
| Basic Ship Handling | Basic Ship Handling is the first of 2 CBT’s on the subject of Ship Handling. Together with the Advanced Ship Handling CBT, these two modules will cover the STCW 95 requirements and are also based on the IMO model course. |
