Engine Rating Course

 

 

What is it?

 

Engine Rating Course is a program focusing on a career as a Seaman in Engine Rating / Mechanic Marine / Technician in oil & gas industry / Engineer Officer.

It is a package program with “Ready to Work” concept. Trainees will be trained with Engineer Officer < 750kwa course and also subjects related to work as an above said worker.

Trainees will also be provided with documents and certificates needed to work in ships and oil & gas platforms.

If they pass the exam, they will be accredited by Malaysia Marine Department as an individual who is competent to be an Engineer Officer for ships less than 750kWa on a near coastal voyage.

 

What are the career prospects?

With this course, trainees will have the opportunity to work as a rating in the Engine Department on local or international ships, as technician or helper in oil & gas offshore industry and Engineer Officer for local ships.

  • Certificate in Engine Officer < 750kWa Near Coastal Voyages.

What are the entry requirements?

Entry requirements to enter this course are:

  • 17years old and above.
  • Have good physical and mental condition
  • High discipline
  • SPM
  • Interested to work on a ship and oil platform.


Course Duration

Four (4) months. days.
