What is it?

Pipe Gas Insulation is a program focused on individuals starting a career as an insulator in oil & gas industry.

It is a package program with “Ready to Work” concept.

Trainees will be train with subjects related to work as an insulator in offshore and onshore.

Trainees will also gain  all the certificates and documents required to work in the oil and gas industry.

What are the career prospects?

With this course, trainees will have the opportunity to work as a fire-watch in petrochemical plants, insulator, jackator and tinsmith in oil & gas industry.

As well as learning all relevant tasks and associated duties of an Pipe Gas Insulator, participants will also gain the following:

  1. Full Medical check-up
  2. Personal Protective Equipment
  3. Basic Rigging and Slinging certificate.
  4. Basic Fire Watch certificate.
  5. Emergency Response Plan certificate
  6. Basic Fire Fighting certificate
  7. Basic First Aid certificate
  8. Confined Space Awareness certificate
  9. Basic Offshore Emergency Training (BOSET) certificate.
  10. NIOSH Petronas Safety Passport
  11. CIDB Green Card

What are the entry requirements?

Entry requirements to enter this course are:

  • 17years old and above.
  • Have good physical and mental condition
  • Can read and write
  • Interested to work as an insulator in oil & gas industry.

How long is course?

Duration of the course is 4 (Four) months.
