1. OPITO (Organization of Petroleum Industry Training Organization) is an independent certification body approved by most major oil & gas companies worldwide. OPITO accredit petrochemical, oil & gas & offshore safety training, date base trainee and training providers.

2. STCW 1995 – Standard of training, certification and watch keeping 1995 is a seafarer certification convention under the International Maritime Organization (IMO). Every country will determine its administrator for the STCW ’95 and in Malaysia is the Marine Department. Under the STCW “95 are Certificate of Competency (Watch Keeping Engineer – WKE & Watch Keeping Officer – WKO) and Certificate of Proficiency (Basic Safety Training , Tanker Familiarization , Advance Fire Fighting , Medical First Aid)

3. DOSH – Department of Occupational Safety and Health (DOSH) under the Malaysian Ministry of Human Resources (MOH) under the International Labour Organization (ILO) accredit Safety and Health Officer (SHO) program and certify the competency of SHO. DOSH also approves Continous Education Program (CEP) of 15 marks each

4. PETRONAS is the Malaysian petrochemical, oil and gas controlling company. PETRONAS license training providers and also approve various safety training courses.

5. Internal participant – current enrolled students at Ranaco either from RETI or VTP. They are entitled for 50% rate.

6. External participant – those whom not enrolled at Ranaco training centre or industrial workers.

7. Ranaco Membership – those whom obtain Ranaco Membership Card with discounted price based on modules.

1. Rates

External : Either entitle for normal rate or membership price.

Corporate : Minimum required participants 20 personnel per session to enjoy the membership rate of 25%. Terms

and conditions apply.

BST : Basic Safety Training – comprise of 4 module – Personnel Survival , Water Survival , Fire Fighting & First Aid

PSC : Production Sharing Contract

CEP : Continuous Education Program

EBS : Emergency Breathing System
